The 39-year-old actress and 44-year-old actor presented the new film in Madrid. Scarlett Johansson made Channing Tatum laugh.

Hollywood stars arrived in Spain for the premiere of the film “Fly with me to the Moon”, in which they played the main roles. Scarlett chose a little black dress in the style of Coco Chanel, but from the brand Courreges. A fitted mini-length outfit with a chaste cleavage area emphasized the slender figure of the actress. The look was complemented by silver stiletto sandals with an ankle strap.

Johansson made up with gray shadows, arrows, a thick layer of pencil and matte lipstick in a shade of nude. Scarlett’s hair was pulled back into a sleek bun. Among the jewelry, the actress wore loop earrings made of white gold with diamonds, as well as a set of miniature earrings rings on her left ear. They were accompanied by a laconic silver bracelet and several rings with stones.

Channing donned a white basic T-shirt, a light gray double-breasted suit with a barely noticeable loose-fitting plaid with contrasting buttons and black shoes. The actors got along great. Tatum gallantly extended his hand to Johansson as she took the stage.

“A planet is…” Scientists have proposed to change the definition of a planet, because the old one is outdated

Planetary scientists from the University of California at Los Angeles and colleagues have proposed a new definition of a planet for the International Astronomical Union (IAU). This organization officially names all space objects and in 2006 adopted the current definition, in which one of the criteria is the rotation of a celestial body around the Sun. And this immediately weeds out all the celestial bodies around other stars outside our Solar System.

Other criteria in the definition of MAC, on the contrary, lack specificity, scientists believe. An article with their new definition and detailed arguments has been published on the arXiv preprint server.

At the moment, according to the IAU classification, a planet is considered to be a celestial body orbiting the Sun, massive enough to take a spherical shape under the influence of its gravity and remove other objects near its orbit.

“Now we know about the existence of thousands of planets, but the definition of the IAU does not apply to them. We propose a new definition that can be applied to celestial bodies orbiting any star, stellar remnant or brown dwarf,” planetary scientist and astrophysicist Jean-Luc Margot, professor at the University of California at Los Angeles.

Football in its modern form appeared in England in the XIII century, and already at the beginning of the XIV the Lord Mayor of London forbade chasing the ball in the city, as he believed that riots that regularly occur after games could be dangerous. Sociologists of the 20th century believed that football hooligans are exclusively people from disadvantaged families, representatives of the social grassroots and other marginals. However, more thorough research has shown that this is not the case.

In one gate: how and why respectable football fans become hooligans

The herd instinct
According to a 2006 VTsIOM survey, matches in Russia are attended mainly by people with above-average incomes. And a study conducted in 2011 by specialists from St. Petersburg State University did not reveal a significant difference in the level of aggression between those who are not interested in football at all and “ordinary” fans (this indicator is still higher for fans). However, even the calmest spectators of football matches are capable of yelling offensive chants for hours, and sometimes threatening to kill fans of the “enemy” team.

Domestic cats will do almost anything to avoid contact with water. But the fear of water is not at all peculiar to their wild cousins. Lions, tigers and jaguars had to adapt to the water in order to survive, scientists who observed the lions came to this conclusion.

A research team in Uganda filmed two male lions swimming in a pond in Queen Elizabeth National Park. But what was unusual was the distance they traveled and the danger lurking on the way: the lions swam about 1.5 km through the Kazinga Canal, which connects two lakes in the park. The channel is home to a large number of hippos and Nile crocodiles, which are known to attack lions. In the footage, captured on a high-resolution thermal imaging camera, the lions make three attempts to cross the 6-meter-deep channel (and return to shore) before starting to swim south of the park.

Archaeologists have discovered one of the earliest Christian buildings in the Persian Gulf — the first physical evidence of a long-lost community. Radiocarbon dating indicates that the building in Samahij, Bahrain, was founded between the 4th and 8th centuries, and subsequently abandoned after the population converted to Islam.

Excavations carried out by British and Bahraini archaeologists under a mound in the village cemetery helped to discover a large building with eight preserved rooms — a kitchen, a dining room, a work room and three living rooms. The building has been preserved because a mosque was built on it.

It is possible that the building was the palace of the bishop of the diocese, which is listed in historical sources as Masmahig. Records show that relations between Meshmahig and the central church authorities were not always smooth, especially after the bishop was excommunicated in 410.

We perceive the world in different ways

Human vision is difficult to call perfect in terms of acuity, visible color spectrum or viewing angle, but people see well against the background of most animals. “Around the World” “looked” at the same image through the eyes of a man, a dog, a fish, a turtle, a fly, a mouse and a parrot.

Dog

He has vision that is insensitive to red and orange colors, but he distinguishes shades of gray much better than a person. He sees well at night. It has weak farsightedness (up to + 0.5 diopters), perfectly recognizes moving objects from a distance of 700-900 meters. But it does not distinguish well anything closer than 35-50 centimeters.

Parrot

It is capable of perceiving the entire color spectrum and ultraviolet visible to humans. Tetrachromatic: the main colors are red, green, blue, ultraviolet, and the last one is the most important of them. Visual acuity is several times higher than that of a human. Clearly sees over long distances, has the ability to adjust vision depending on the distance to objects.

Repairs are a difficult element and for many a real test of the strength of family relationships. But if the house is a place of power for you, it must change from time to time. We tell you how to wisely approach the renovation of the interior, not to make annoying mistakes and not get bogged down in repairs for many months.

Repair or upgrade?
The house is our refuge. Sometimes it’s an office, sometimes it’s a game room, a cooking studio or a spa. And the house is the best reflection of our values and preferences, character and interests. But we are changing, the family is growing. Sooner or later, there comes a time when it is necessary to find new design solutions for the place where we spend a lot of time. Global repairs are only necessary in a few cases: when moving, as well as if serious redevelopment and replacement of functional systems and communications are required. In all other cases, you can do without updating the interior to make the space more comfortable and modern.

Recently, home staging (from the English home staging – house + staging) has been gaining popularity – preparing a room for sale or rent, creating a new thoughtful image of it. But even if the sale is not planned, the principles of homesteading will help you take a fresh look at your own home and find interesting solutions.

Mixed planting is very popular, because it is convenient and practical. But such a solution will benefit only if the plants that turn out to be neighbors in the garden are suitable for each other. The question of what to plant next to cabbage often arises among summer residents, because many grow this vegetable on their acres. In our article, we will tell you which crops can be planted nearby (and how best to do it), and which ones should be placed further away and why.

Why combine landings
Joint planting of cabbage with other crops is beneficial for several reasons at once.

Saving space. Instead of two separate beds, you can make one if you choose plants that do not compete with cruciferous plants for resources, do not shield them from the sun and prefer the same land and an identical watering regime. In this case, it is necessary to ensure that the neighbor has a deep root system (since cabbage usually has a superficial one) and that he does not have large leaves blocking the light.
Increasing the yield and improving its quality. Some plants can not only coexist side by side, but also help each other. And from this point of view, legumes will be the optimal companion for cabbage forks. They saturate the soil with nitrogen compounds, which are very important for the growth of heads.
Protection from pests and diseases. Many garden crops have developed mechanisms that protect them from insects. If you plant them along the rows of cruciferous plants, then the beds will remain safe. And since ants and aphids often infect plants, blocking their access can save plantings from a number of diseases.
Thus, by choosing successful neighbors, you can significantly increase the yield, use fewer insecticides and apply fertilizers less often.

Large dogs are more comfortable living in the yard than in the house. Provide them with this opportunity by building an enclosed insulated enclosure. To do this, you need to be able to work with a welding machine or at least a drill and an electric jigsaw. We tell you how to make an aviary for a dog with your own hands according to ready-made drawings.

Types and features of aviaries
Aviaries are divided into portable and stationary ones. The first ones, which are light cells, are easier to buy at a veterinary salon. They are more often used for caring for a sick animal, keeping puppies.

In the July weeks, ovaries appear on tomato bushes and tomatoes ripen. In open ridges, this process may begin a little later, in greenhouses — earlier. It all depends on the conditions in which the plants are located. In any case, July is the time of fruit formation and ripening. At this time, the bushes especially need proper nutrition so that the harvest is plentiful and tasty. Let’s figure out how and how to feed tomatoes in July in open beds and in a greenhouse.

What elements do tomatoes need in July
This month, tomato bushes dramatically increase their nutrient intake. They actively spend their resources on the formation and growth of fruits, on the set of vegetative mass. To do this, they especially need potassium and phosphorus, which are “responsible” for the setting, growth and ripening of fruits. For the same purposes, the plant needs boron, zinc, iron, calcium, iodine, humic acids, manganese. All this gives him the opportunity to form ovaries on time and correctly, pour fruits with high sugar content and without excess water. Thus, a properly selected and timely top dressing affects the number of fruits, their taste and shelf life.
