The Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet determined the cause of death. Relatives of the 46-year-old actor said that on that day he went to the bank to deposit the loan balances. They believe Benji fell asleep in his car and died of heat stroke. Gregory’s sister Rebecca admitted that he suffered from depression, bipolar disorder and had a sleep disorder that often kept him awake for several days.
Gregory became famous at the age of 8, after playing Brian Tanner in the cult sitcom of the 80s. “Alf” aired for four seasons from September 22, 1986 to March 24, 1990. It also starred Max Wright, Ann Schedeen and Andrea Elson.
